Dang this song rocks! Just had to listen to it again just now “just because.”
Yeah, yeah, the lyrics are a bit harsh (but not offensive or harmful by any means IMHO).
Overall: Exceptional song! Compelling yet complex and, as the band - Fire from the Gods - talks about in a couple or three other songs, “revolutionary.”
Now, I realize the word “revolution” can have a bad meaning or at least connotation these days, but, again, IMHO, there ain’t nothing’ in any of their songs lyrics to indicate the kind of “revolution” some folks might be thinking.
So just chill out for a moment.
Cause guess what? It’s perfectly normal for hard core Christians to also love hard rock as well e.g. the band “Alter Bridge” amongst many others.
